Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 25th June 2026 to 2nd July 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough. The Police Reference Number (PR) with each of the reports is shown in brackets. Car Crime This week there have been 0 reports of a suspected theft from car and 0 reports of attempts to gain access to vehicles. There have been 2 reports of license plates being stolen. Arrests. There were 46 arrests in the period June 25th 2026 to July 1st 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 6, Rape/Sexual Offence 4, Drugs 3, Prescribed Limit 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 2, Violent Crime other 3, Crime Public Order 1, Offensive Weapon 2, Firearms/Ballistic seized 1, Child at Risk 4, Master Occurrence 3*, Theft 2, Robbery 1, Burglary Business/Community 1 Criminal Damage 1, Crime Other 2, Absconder/Wanted 1, Breach Warrant 1, Immigration 1, Pets/Domesticated animals 1, Prisoner recall 1, Fraud 1, None of these 2. Assault on Police 1. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been 5 reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These include two reports of Courier Fraud and one of Telephone Fraud.
